Add a Subscription Service to Your Preschool – with Michele Munroe

If you want to add a subscription service to your preschool, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Michele Munroe was a daycare owner, trying to curb the burnout she had been feeling for a long time. She thought that expanding so she could hire help would make things easier on her, but quickly realized that dealing with staff callouts was making her life even more stressful than before. Once she found Joy, she realized that she could transition to a half day program, which provided her more time to start an online preschool subscription service!  Listen in to discover how you can add a subscription service to your preschool, too!

Michele was burnt out from her long day care days. After transitioning to director, she was hoping this would help, but it only created a new set of challenges as she started dealing with staff call outs, leaving her scrambling to stay in ratio.

After finding Joy’s book, she decided that moving to a half day preschool model would help curb the burnout she had been feeling. It even left her with enough time to start a side business, an online preschool subscription service!

With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Michelle is in the process of transitioning her daycare to a half day preschool model. She is also building an online preschool subscription service to market to daycares and parents around the country! They helped her figure out the technical side of her new business, and validated her ideas and goals.

Michele is in the process of transitioning to her ideal schedule and business model. Her house is being taken up by her new side business, and she still has a lot to figure out. But she is encouraged by The Preschool All Stars, and her own success in this new venture already. Her goal is to get that extra family time in, and to create a business that works for her family and community.
