Start a Virtual K-12 Private School – Followup with Beth Koenig

If you want to start a virtual private school, listen to today’s Preschool All Stars story: Beth Koenig was just starting up her online sign language preschool when we last spoke to her. She was also figuring out how to add homeschool enrichment classes for all ages and wanted to offer disability services in her program, as well. Now, just a year and a half later, she is in the process of opening her own online private school for pre-k-12th! She is also looking to offer speech therapists, OTC, and PT to all of her students! Less than two years after starting her online preschool, she is able to build a program she had only dreamed about before.  Listen in to discover how you can build virtual private school, too!

Beth Koenig has a goal to make disability services accessible to everyone, and that was her goal when she first started her online Sign Language preschool program. Starting small with just one class, she has expanded her program to offer lots of classes for homeschoolers. But she wasn’t done yet!

After being part of The Preschool All Stars, Beth knew that anything was possible if she was willing to work hard, and surround herself with the right people. She already had the knowledge and support, she just needed to put her plan into action. She is now planning on opening up her private preschool this Fall!

With the help of Joy and the Preschool All Stars, Beth has the tools to make her program into whatever she wants it to be! Beth is usually the one helping other All Stars with their tech issues, but the support, ideas, and resources she gets from being in the group have been invaluable to her and her program.

Beth has a lot of things she is still figuring out for her new private school. She wants her program to be the only academic program that her students need. Which means she needs to offer every subject, every grade, and every service these kids may need. It’s a unique challenge, but it keeps her on her toes and she is so excited to make this dream a reality!
